When I was very little, my mother had a calendar on the wall in her kitchen and that year all the pages that showed each month had paintings by van Gogh and one in particular fascinated me; “The Café Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night”. The colors are so vivid between blues and lemon yellow... The colors and the movement so I fell in love with his work.
Magic and wonder at being able to see colors and trying to unravel them always accompany me in my work. And Vincent van Gogh's work touches my heart deeply and I always want to play with him.
